FAN FICTION RULES & POSTING GUIDELINES
Welcome to the Fan Fiction section. While we want this to be a stress-free environment, we ask that you follow a few very simple guidelines when posting your work, in order to keep things running smoothly.
WRITE WHAT YOU WANT. Scripts and stories of all genres are accepted. Please feel free to share original stories and ideas as well, however post your original works at your own risk.
BE RESPECTFUL of other people's ideas. There's a big difference between constructive criticism and bashing.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF WORKS-IN-PROGRESS THREADS. Please limit yourself to three works-in-progress at a time to keep the section organized and under control.
COMPLETED PROJECTS. When you complete a project, please PM an administrator and ask them to move it to the Completed Projects section, just in case we miss it. When a project is completed, an administrator will also add it to the Fan Fiction Directory.
CANCELLED PROJECTS. We understand that everyone has projects that don't pan out. However, please wait at least one week to cancel a project if you choose do to so. Additionally, try not to make it a habit; if you begin to leave a trail of dead projects in your wake, further action might be taken. If you decide to cancel a project, please PM an administrator and ask them to move your project thread to the "Dead Threads" section to help keep the Fan Fiction section clean & sparkly.
GRAPHICS such as logos or posters for your projects help with the general aesthetic of a thread, but they are by no means required.
SEXUAL CONTENT. Please use discretion when posting material with sexual content. If another member has posted something that you feel crosses the line, please PM an administrator and we will review the work in question and take further action if necessary.
R RATED MATERIAL. Feel free to share R rated work on this site. We just ask if you do so, it’s hosted on another one rather than posted directly here. Just link us to the place to read or download. This is to keep with the Proboards TOS.
HAVE FUN. Let's help each other grow as writers.
