ARI ASTER AND CMAN710’S “DEMENTIA 13” REMAKE PREPS PRODUCTION IN IRELAND; TAPS HALORAN SIBLINGS


Cman710’s long gestured remake of “Dementia 13” has finally found its home at A24 and tapped ARI ASTER (Hereditary, Midsommer) to direct! We’re being told exclusively that the project is being fast-tracked and already undergoing pre-production on location in Ireland (confirming this third iteration will return to the setting of the original) in hopes of release this year.

Furthermore, the highly anticipated remake has tapped some big names to star as the lead siblings of the Haloran clan. Attaching BLAKE LIVELY (A Simple Favor), MICHAEL B. JORDAN (Black Panther), and HENRY GOLDING (Crazy Rich Asians) as BILLIE, RICHIE, and JOHNNY HALORAN respectively. It is said they will play adoptive siblings in this version.

Yas. I've never heard of this Henry Golding, but Michael B. Jordan is fantastic and Blake Lively is fine given the right material. I'm still on board, obviously.
