ONE GOOD SCARE just got a makeover!
Most of the updates to the look are going to be pretty easy to discern, but here's a rundown for posterity:

A new layout including...
- A higher-contrast color scheme for easier viewing (especially over long periods of time)
- A revamped logo
- New icons and a brand-new default avatar
- Personalized BBCode buttons that you'll see when making a post or using the Shoutbox
- A less cluttered interface on the main page
Brand new features including...
- Thread descriptions! When you start a new thread, you'll see an addition text field below the subject line where you can include a brief summary of your thread (or not - they're optional)
- The number of threads created by each user is now displayed in the user's mini profile
