Horror | Dark Comedy | Extra-Terrestrial
PREMISE
Based on the 1998 film of the same name, The Faculty follows a group of very different high school students who are forced to put their differences aside when an alien invasion descends upon their school. Described as 'The Thing' for the post-modern generation, The Faculty is a tongue-in-cheek sci-fi horror film with a sense of humor.
CHARACTERS
THE STUDENTS
ZEKE TYLER [17]. Supposed "bad boy" who may not be quite as bad as he wants everyone to believe. His teachers wish he'd use his scientific know-how to get his GPA above a 2.0, but he's got "better" things to do with his time.
DELILAH PROFITT [17]. A new student who has already taken over the school. As is often the case, the most popular girl in school is a vicious, cold-hearted succubus. But she's also dangerously smart and witty.
STOKELY MITCHELL [17]. A quiet loner with a mean streak that rears its ugly head toward anyone who dares to speak to her. Goes about her day with minimal human interaction. She'll tell you it's by choice, but is it?
STAN ROSADO [17]. Delilah's better half. A dumb jock who's worked up just enough goodwill with his teachers to avoid flunking. He puts forth more effort than anyone in school -- he simply hasn't got the smarts.
CASEY CONNOR [17]. The guy that all the girls call adorable, but whom they'll never date. Small and too weak to defend himself -- the perfect punching bag for Stan's crew, and yet he seems to have found his only semblance of a true friend in Stan himself
THE FACULTY
PRINCIPAL VALERIE DRAKE. A stern busybody. Runs a tight ship around the school. Tough but fair? Hardly. Just tough.
JOSEPH WILLIS. Coach and Gym Teacher. Tries to be the typical tough-guy, hard-ass coach -- but that's not who he is. Isn't taken all that seriously despite his constant attempts to terrify his students.
KAREN OLSON. English Teacher. The type of hardass that Coach Willis wishes he was. Talk or use phones in class and there's a smackdown coming your way.
ROSA HARPER. Nurse. A thick Colombian accent that students find hard to understand. She's sexy even in a nurse uniform with her hair pulled back. The kind of nurse people would pretend to be sick for.
EDWARD FURLONG. Biology Teacher. Fun and friendly guy. Makes science as enjoyable as science could possibly be, not that that's saying much.
