PREMISE
It's December 23rd, and most of the girls in the Alpha Kappa Sorority have headed home for the holidays. Only a select few remain. As the holiday draws nearer, a series of increasingly menacing telephone calls are placed to their house, and the remaining girls are disappearing one by one. Have they simply gone home, or is something considerably more disturbing at work?
CHARACTERS
CLAIRE HARRISON, 20. A wholesome and good-natured young woman. She came from a strict upbringing, which still manages to control nearly everything she does -- much to the chagrin of the more outgoing Alpha Kappa girls. She's leaving tomorrow, thank goodness, and will spend the break with her family... if she makes it that far.
DREW, 23. Claire's boyfriend. A slightly older frat guy with slightly more adult things on his mind.
HEATHER, 21. A friendly religious girl who has recently come out of her shell a bit... thanks to the prodding from her Alpha Kappa sisters. Everybody in the house is on good terms with her -- even Lauren. Kris and Claire are her main support system, and have always been there when she needed them. Now they'll need her big-time.
JANICE, 20. A townie. She used to date Drew, but things didn't work out -- if you ask Drew, it's all because of her... but the sisters know better.
KRIS, early 20s. A good student and friend, for those who treat her kindly. She has been known to clash with Lauren -- as most sisters to at one point or another -- and her love life has been... a struggle, recently. She's stuck at Alpha Kappa over the break due to work commitments... but you can't work if you're dead.
LAUREN, early 20s. Gorgeous but bitchy. Not approachable by outsiders, but those who have known her for years -- namely, her Alpha Kappa sisters -- know that there's a very kind, very genuine person somewhere in there. Good luck finding it. Her family has failed to reach out to her this year, so she'll be staying on campus over the break -- it just may kill her.
LT. FULLER, 40. Handsome... oozes authority. He's all business and highly professional.
MR. HARRISON, late 40s. Claire's father. A very strict and (some would say) controlling man with well-defined ideas of how his daughter and her friends ought to be behaving.
MRS. MACHENRY, or MRS. MAC as the girls call her, 50s. A former Alpha Kappa sister. She knows how it feels to be a college girl, cutting loose, and supports it. Doesn't have a strict bone in her body, but that may have something to do with all the booze she's got stashed around the house.
TRAVIS, 25. Kris's boyfriend. A tall dark and handsome music student -- and a member of the fraternity down the road. Drew is his best friend in the world. If you want one of them, you'll get both of them. He's struggling in school and taking it out on those around him -- collapsing under the pressure, some would say.
